Also on September 8, 2021, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the country, a monument was erected on the territory of the facility named after the athlete of the Palace of Martial Arts, which was opened at the intersection of Kabanbay Batyr Avenue and the street of Khans Kerey and Zhanibek. The sculpture of the monument to Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov is made of bronze, the pedestal is made of granite. Height - 7.5 meters. Its author was Yerbol Ziyabekov, a sculptor from the capital. The palace building has a triangular shape, which symbolizes the soaring golden eagle, as a symbol of the power and freedom of Kazakhstan.
The sports complex is a 4-storey building with a total area of 32,146.1 m2 and a plot area of 5,1724 hectares. And also includes: an arena, a hotel, a restaurant, a cafeteria, a fitness center, office space, a conference room, martial arts halls, a wrestling hall, a medical office and an outdoor mini football field.
