A delegation of the Republic of Belarus, led by the Minister of Sport of the Republic of Belarus, Sergey Mikhailovich Kovalchuk, visited the Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov Martial Arts Palace in Astana.

The delegation also included Yevgeny Andreyevich Zalessky, Head of the Main Department for Planning and Organizational Affairs of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus, and Aleksey Igorevich Bogdanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The guests were welcomed by Zhandos Zhaksylykovich Ushkempirov, Director of the Olympic Training Center for Wrestling, who introduced the delegation to the Palace's infrastructure and its capabilities for hosting international sporting events.

During the visit, the delegation was also presented with the complex's capacity to organize major international sports competitions, including preparations for the Games of the Future Astana 2026 tournament.
