On February 28 of this year, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Kazakhstan, Didier Canesse, visited the Martial Arts Palace named after Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov in connection with preparations for the upcoming Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris 2024.
Director of the Martial Arts Palace Ushkampirov Zhandos Zhaksylykovich introduced the main premises of the sports facility, including the arena, restaurant, martial arts halls, and wrestling halls.
Afterwards, a meeting took place between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France and the Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ermek Boranbaevich Marzhikpayev, within the walls of the Headquarters for preparations for the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris.
During the meeting, representatives of the two countries discussed the upcoming games, after which the Ambassador of France presented the official mascot of the Olympics and shared plans to create a mural in Astana dedicated to the upcoming games in Paris
