From 11-13 of March, 2024 the international greco-roman wrestling tournament among juniors (U20) dedicated to the memory of the Honored Master of Sports of the USSR, Olympic champion, world champion, Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov will be held at the Martial Arts Palace named after Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov in Astana. In the renowned competition, the best wrestlers in the world will compete in 10 weight categories.

The event was organized by the Committee for Sport and Physical Education of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the greco-roman, freestyle and women's wrestling Federation, and the Department of Culture and Sports of Astana city.
