Today in Astana, representatives of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport and the headquarters for the preparation for the Olympics held a meeting with deputies of the Mazhilis and reported on the preparation of the national team for the main four-year competitions - the Olympic and Paralympic Games, which will be held in the city of France Paris in 2024. Deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ardak Nazarov, Nurlan Auesbaev, Daulet Mukaev, Kazybek Isa, Nartai Sarsengaliev, Nurgul Tau, Tansaule Serikov got acquainted with the work carried out by the ministry.

Also in the Martial Arts Palace named after Zh. Ushkempirov, deputies took part in the judo training session and talked with the athletes. Then they took part in training for students of the Qazaq kuresi Academy.

Let us remind you that this year’s XXXIII Summer Olympic Games will be held from July 26 to August 11. It is planned that 10 500 athletes from 205 countries will take part in it. 329 sets of medals will be competed in 32 sports. The XVII Summer Paralympic Games will be held from August 28 to September 8. In 22 sports, 184 countries differentiate 549 sets of medals.

At the summer sports games today, our country received another medal and reached 50 licenses in 17 sports. The Kazakhstan para-games team has 11 licenses in 7 sports.
