On August 22 of this year, the grand opening of the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling among veterans took place.

The opening ceremony was held by Vice Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zharasbayev Serik Maratovich.

This Championship will be held until August 23. Competitions within the framework of this Championship will be held in the following weight categories: U-35-40, U-41-45, U-46-50, U-51-55, U-56-60: Greco-Roman wrestling - 62, 70, 78, 88, 100, 130 kg; free fighting - 62, 70, 78, 88, 100, 130 kg (+2 kg by agreement).
