The national championship will be held on November 12-15 at the Martial Arts Palace named after Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov. About 500 judokas from 17 regions of the country and the cities of Astana, Almaty and Shymkent will take part in the republican competition.

Among the participants there are a number of tatami masters who are currently defending the country’s honor at world competitions as part of the national team. In particular, the winners of the Asian Championship, Grand Prix and Grand Slam such as Nurkanat Serikbaev, Daniyar Shamshaev, Islam Bozbaev, Galymzhan Kyrykbay, Baurzhan Narbaev, Eset Kuanov, Galia Tynbaeva, Kamila Berlikash will take part.

Based on the results of the Kazakhstan Championship, a national team will be formed for the new season 2024-2025
