In a futsal match at the Martial Arts Palace named after Zh. Ushkempirov national team of Kazakhstan beat the Netherlands with a score of 2:0 and led the Elite Round, winning a direct ticket to the World Cup in Uzbekistan in 2024.

Now the final group match between Kazakhstan and Romania will take place on December 20.

The Kazakhstan national team took 4th place in the European rankings, 7th place in the world rankings.
