In Astana, the opening ceremony of the international tournament dedicated to the memory of Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov took place at the Martial Arts Palace named after Zh. Ushkempirov

The opening ceremony of the competition was attended by Deputy Minister of Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zharasbayev, Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sport of the city of Astana Vasily Levit, General secretary of the Greco-Roman, Freestyle and Women's Wrestling Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dimash Sultanov and Director of the automobile trading house Q4Tulpar, further sponsor of the tournament Talgat Sakan, who wished success to all participants in the competition.

The Greco-Roman wrestling tournament determines the winners and prize-winners in ten weight categories.

Let us note that the wrestling competitions will be held at the Martial Arts Palace named after Zh. Ushkempirov until March 13.
