Today, December 17, 2023, at the Martial Arts Palace named after Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov held the opening ceremony of the Republican Tournament “Steppe Eagles”, organized by the “Qazaq Kuresi” Association.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Committee for Sport and Physical Education of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the President of the «Qazaq kuresi» Association Myrzabossynov Erbol Kuantayevich, and the General Director of the «Qazaq kuresi» Association Estek Erlan Zhumabekovich.

It should be noted that during the year, 64 wrestlers competed in rating competitions at the tournament, scoring high scores in 8 weight categories. Among them are the winners of the World and Asian Championships, the World Cup, and the World Nomad Games, such as Bekzhan Tolepov, Marat Nigmatullayev, Beket Zhunus, Erzhan Erenkayipov and Zhumazhan Kozhambekov.
