Maulen Ashimbaev: citizens with disabilities and children with special needs are supported by the state
Today at the Martial Arts Palace named after Zh. Ushkempirov in the capital, the opening of the largest competition in the Paralympic sport-championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in bocce took place.
The event was opened by the Chairman of the Senate, President of the Boccia Federation of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbaev.
Boccia is a ball game, one of the few Paralympic sports that allows children and adults with the most severe mobility impairments to improve themselves.
About 50 athletes over 15 years old from different regions of the country will take part in the championship.
Based on the results of these competitions, participants will represent the country at international competitions - combat, Paralympic and Asian Paralympic Games.
