President of the Qazaq Kuresi Association and Chairman of the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Erol Myrzabosynov visited the gym of the Qazaq Kuresi Academy in the Martial Arts Palace named after Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov

President of the Qazaq Kuresi Association and Chairman of the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Erol Myrzabosynov visited the gym of the Qazaq Kuresi Academy in the Martial Arts Palace named after Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov

The total area of the hall is 250 square meters. The new gym has bathrooms and locker rooms and three modern roll mats needed for wrestling. These mats prevent various injuries to children during wrestling.

According to Academy coach Kairat Kastaev, today more than 500 children practice Kazakh martial arts for free. Pupils aged from 6 to 17 years. Since the opening of the academy, young wrestlers have taken part in various competitions and won prizes.

Watching the progress of the teenagers’ training in the hall, the President of the Association, Erbol Kuantaevich, noted the importance of Kazakh wrestling and wished success to the future champions.

In particular, the Qazaq kuresi Academy has been operating since 2020. Exercises are carried out five times a week and twice a day.

Young wrestlers are trained by such experienced coaches as Kairat Kaztaev, Bereketov Meirzhan, Kalymbekov Erkebulan and Nurgali Tursingaziev.
