The Kazakhstan national team completed the Asian wrestling championship with 7 gold medals.
The Kazakhstan freestyle wrestling team took 1st place in the overall standings at the Asian Championships held in Astana.
Today, on the last day of the Asian Championship in Greco-Roman, women's and freestyle wrestling, which takes place in the capital's martial arts palace named after Zh. Ushkempirov, the Kazakhstan team won two more gold medals.
These are Darkhan Esengali, who competed in the 74 kg category and defeated Japanese Kirina Kinoshita in the final match with a score of 7:2, and two-time Asian champion Azamat Dauletbekov, who competed in the 86 kg category.
In the final, he defeated Alireza Karimi from Iran with a score of 4:1.
Rizabek Aitmukhan (92 kg) and Yusup Batyrmurzaev (125 kg) won the silver prize.
And Rakhat Kalzhan, who competed in the 57 kg weight category, was pleased with the bronze prize.
This is the highest number of freestyle wrestlers on the continent.
