From August 10 to 13, the Republican Spartakiad among central government bodies is taking place at the Martial Arts Palace named after Zh. Ushkempirov.

The purpose of the Spartakiad is to attract civil servants to systematic sports, promote a healthy lifestyle, cultivate team spirit, dedication, will, perseverance and desire to win.

It should be noted that this year 24 teams consisting of about 1,000 civil servants are taking part in the competition. They compete in sports such as futsal, volleyball, Kazak kuresi, togyzkumalak, table tennis, and billiards.
