Today, the Directorate for the preparation and holding of the 5th World Nomad Games was visited by a delegation from Japan led by the Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Fukazawa Yoichi.
The guests were met by the Deputy Head of the Directorate, Muratbek Kipshakbayev. During the meeting, the parties discussed international cooperation and the participation of athletes from Japan in the 5th World Nomad Games.
Japan was among the first to respond to the invitation to take part in the 5th World Nomad Games. The Japan Martial Arts Association sent an official letter to the Directorate regarding the participation of athletes in the Kazakh Wrestling, Turkish, Kyrgyz and Uzbek wrestling.
After the discussion, the parties visited the Martial Arts Palace named after Zh. Ushkempirov, where they were shown master classes on Kazak Wrestling, «asyk atu», «togyzkumalak», as well as a training room on «Dasturly sadak atu».
