In Astana on December 2-4, the winners of the VI Summer Spartakiad of the Republic of Kazakhstan in taekwondo (WT) became known.

The tournament was attended by 189 athletes from 16 regions and 3 cities of the country in 16 weight categories.

8 men and 8 women took part in the competition.

Astana taekwondo athletes completed the VI Summer Spartakiad with one silver and triple bronze, in 11th place in the overall standings.

It is worth noting that in total about 4,000 athletes in 27 sports took part in the Summer Spartakiad, which is held every 4 years in the country. In this series, Astana hosted such types of the Summer Spartakiad of the Republic of Kazakhstan as boxing, judo and taekwondo.
