The hand-to-hand combat tournament for the Cup of the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Agency has ended.

September 7 this year a republican hand-to-hand combat tournament for the Cup of the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Agency took place at the Zhekpe-zhek Martial Arts Palace named after Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov.

The purpose of this event is to promote a healthy lifestyle, increase the level of special physical training of law enforcement officers and military personnel, law enforcement and special forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, improve sportsmanship and qualifications of participants.

The tournament was attended by employees of the Anti-Corruption Agency (AIC), the Financial Monitoring Agency (AFM), the National Security Committee (NSC), the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), the Ministry of Defense (MO), the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM), the Service state protection (SGO).

Olympic boxing champion Serik Sapiev, Naiza FC President Nurbek Karabala, four-time world champion Ilya Ilyin, and world boxing champion Merey Akshalov came to support the athletes.

In total, 8 sets of medals were played among eight different weight categories.
